Island Festival 2009

Offering reggae fun and flavor in the heart of Kalamazoo! The Island Festival is held at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site, on the corner of Edwards and Kalamazoo Avenue from 11 a.m. – 12:30 a.m., June 18-20. Come celebrate the culture of the Caribbean region! Featuring food, art and music from local and regional vendors. Admission ranges from $5 to $8.

16th Annual Kalamazoo Blues Festival
July 9-11, 2009

Enjoy three days of non-stop blues at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site, located at the corner of Edwards and Kalamazoo Avenue. In addition to food and beverages, educational workshops will be offered throughout the festival, with activities for children planned for Saturday afternoon. Tickets are on sale in advance until June 30, 2009 at Marshall Music (Portage location), State Theatre Box Office, 411 Club and the University Bookstore (Campus/Westside).
